Virtual fireworks for New Year’s Eve
Send a greeting with a ten-second countdown over a frozen lake, followed by fireworks and your words in the sky. The countdown plays when they watch, at any time of day.
Send a New Year fireworks greeting
Free greeting, or Deluxe for $1.99 once per greeting. What’s included
A countdown to send
A glowing clock counts down from ten over the frozen lake. Fireworks break at zero, then the show spells out the year, your message and their name. Turn on sound if you want to hear the countdown.
Open the builder, add your words and their name, then choose Free or Deluxe and preview that version. Some ideas for the sky:
- HAPPY NEW YEARThe classic, with their name beneath.
- CHEERS TO A NEW YEARTwenty characters, a toast in the sky.
- HELLO, NEW YEARFifteen characters, a gentle one.
- MISS YOU AT MIDNIGHTFor the person who isn’t in the room.
- SEE YOU IN THE NEW YEARTwenty-three characters, for the people you’ll see soon.
Copy the finished link into a text, email or chat and send it yourself. The countdown is part of the greeting; it is not synchronized to midnight and does not schedule delivery.
An endless show for the party screen
For a continuous display, open the endless show. It changes the colors and fireworks as it runs, with sound off until you turn it on. It is generated in your browser, not a broadcast of a city’s celebration.
Tips for a screen party
- Try the show on the screen you plan to use before the party.
- If your setup supports it, connect a laptop to the TV or mirror its screen.
- Check the sound setting before playing the greeting.
Free, or Deluxe
Free includes the countdown, the year, your words and their name. Deluxe is $1.99, once per greeting, with a longer finale, extra effects, a gift opening and your signature in the sky. A Free link lasts a year; a Deluxe link doesn’t expire. No subscription or account. Launch offer ends 2026-11-09 03:57:00 UTC; then $4.99.
